CEO & Creative Director

Steven Bor is CEO & Creative Director of BOR Productions, an international live entertainment company specialising in the creation, production and operation of live entertainment. He leads the company’s creative direction, commercial development and artistic strategy, with a particular focus on developing new productions, building client relationships and expanding Bor Productions into new areas of live entertainment.

After training at ArtsEd London, Steven began his career as a performer, appearing in West End productions including Hairspray, Million Dollar Quartet and Fiddler on the Roof, before spending several years performing internationally across the cruise industry. His experience as a performer gave him a practical understanding of live entertainment from both sides of the stage.

Over the past decade, Steven has moved increasingly into creative direction and production, developing original shows, overseeing casting and artistic standards, and helping shape BOR Productions’ modern creative output. Today he artistically oversees entertainment across eight MSC Cruises ships and works closely with the wider BOR team on new productions, creative development and long-term entertainment strategy.

His work has included securing the entertainment contract for MSC Euribia, co-creating The Snow Gorilla at the Rose Theatre Kingston, and serving as Associate Director on Giffords Circus’ Laguna Bay alongside Cal McCrystal. His creative interests span theatre, cruise, circus, music-led entertainment and new live entertainment concepts.

As CEO, Steven is focused on the next stage of Bor Productions’ development — strengthening the company’s creative and production capabilities, developing new client relationships across cruise and live entertainment, and building opportunities for original shows, partnerships and new entertainment concepts.
