Head of Singers Casting and Guest Entertainers

Born and raised in Italy, and now based in Scotland, Franco Casilli has built an extensive international career in the entertainment industry, both on stage and behind the scenes.

He began his professional journey touring Italy in musical theatre productions before joining MSC Orchestra in 2008 for his first cruise ship contract. What began as a new adventure developed into almost two decades of work within the cruise industry, including a total of 11 years onboard as both a Production Singer and Guest Entertainer. Alongside his work at sea, Franco has performed in theatres and live events around the world and continues to perform regularly with event bands and musical theatre companies in Scotland.

Over the years, Franco has also developed significant experience in entertainment operations, casting and recruitment, working across cruise ships, resorts and large-scale international productions. He joined Bor Productions bringing together his first-hand understanding of performers and his industry experience to lead the casting of singers and support the development of the company’s Guest Entertainers roster.
