Technical Director

Originally from Genoa, Italy, Davide Gillo began his career in 2010 with MSC Cruises, where he spent five years as Broadcast Manager. During this time, he was also entrusted with supervising the development of broadcast and TV network systems on board several of the company’s new ships.
He later moved to London, where he served as Head of the Video Department and AV Technician at the Royal College of Surgeons. There, he produced video-graphic animations and national commercials for campaigns in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Davide went on to work as Operations Manager for PSAV, overseeing technical directors at some of London’s most prestigious hotels, including the Four Seasons, Hilton Conrad, The Berkeley, and Corinthia.
After nearly two decades abroad, Davide returned to his hometown of Genoa, where he now mentors and trains the next generation of audio-visual technicians. He joined Bor Productions as Technical Director several years ago and plays a key role in managing and developing the technical standards across all productions, both onboard and on land.
