EVA CORBETTA
Singer
Eva Corbetta graduated with a degree in Musicology from the University of Milan, Italy, in April 2007.
In 2009, she earned a diploma in singing from the G. B. Pergolesi Conservatory in Fermo, Italy, and subsequently joined the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento at the Giacomo Puccini Theatre in Torre del Lago, Italy.
In 2010, she made her debut in Torre del Lago, performing the roles of Suora Infermiera and Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica, as well as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi.
She portrayed Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly during the 56th Puccini Festival, a production in which she also performed at the Teatro Comunale of Ferrara and the Teatro G. Verdi in Pisa.
In the 2011/12 season, she was selected for the Opera Ensemble at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, where she debuted as Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte.
In 2013, she debuted the role of Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff at the Opera House in Varna, Bulgaria, later reprising the role in multiple opera houses across the Netherlands.
In 2014, she performed as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, Switzerland. The following year, in 2015, she took on the role of Violetta Valéry in Verdi's La Traviata at the Teatro Greco in Taormina, Italy.
She has won several prestigious competitions, including:
Concorso Lirico Internazionale Città di Alcamo
Concorso Internazionale Giannino Zecca
Concorso Internazionale Besostri, where she was awarded the role of Adina in L'Elisir d'Amore.
From December 2017 to January 2018, she toured China, performing in renowned venues such as the Shanghai Grand Theatre and the Harbin Philharmonic Theatre.
In 2019, she was the lead singer aboard the MSC Orchestra and MSC Opera cruise ships.
In 2021, she won second prize at the Concorso Lirico Internazionale Sordello for the role of Donna Anna, which she later performed at the Classical Festival in Cuneo, Italy.
