COSTUMES
Rita Best
Rita developed her costuming talents throughout a five-year
apprenticeship in
couture dress making. Then she began to independently work in theatre, film &
television. “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” marked her first costuming
work for film, in which she made the sequin tail outfits and Chinese dresses for
the opening scene.
Over the years Rita also worked on numerous pantomimes,
television series and
films including “The Darling Buds of May” starring Catherina Zeta Jones. For the
last 10 years, she has made costumes for Dame Edna Average and recently she
costumed Matt LeBlanc for the film “Lost In Space”
Rita and her team of seamstresses has been responsible for
costuming major
international production shows. For Bor Productions she has made costumes for
“Cinemania”, “Rhythm 2000”, “Rhythm Of The Night”, “Instant Magique”,
“Illusions”, “Magic Voyage” and "Je Veux Rever".
