After graduating from theatre design
college David became the assistant to one of Britain’s top designers Tim
Goodchild, working on stage productions, film and TV in Britain and
around the world. Several years as assistant designer David felt that he
was ready on his own and he has never looked back since.
His own set design credits include
the European touring production of “Carmen” and “Song And Dance”. The
original production of “Oh! What A Night” (Blackpool Opera House), “A
Christmas Carol” (Theatre Royal Nottingham) and touring productions of
“Chess”, “Fame”, “Hair“ and Jesus Christ Supper Star Concert
Spectacular”.
He also designed the Scandinavian
touring arena productions of “Greece” and “Saturday Night Fever” as well
as national tour and West End productions of “Naked Flame” and “The
Hobbit”.
David has designed six world touring
“Holiday On Ice” productions and for Bor Productions four French music
hall extravaganzas “Instant Magique”, “Illusions”, “Magic Voyage” and
“Je Veux Rever”. |
